“Man vs Wild with Narendra Modi” becomes the most trending televised event, claims Bear Grylls

Prime Minister’s appearance on Discovery’s survival show “Man vs. Wild” with Bear Grylls has turned out to be a record-breaking event of TV history. It has collected 3.6 billion impressions and still counting. Delbert Shoopman, EP, and Co-Creator of RunningWild on NatGeo and YouVsWild show on Netflix have tweeted on 16th August 2019 about this achievement.

This show has now surpassed the Super Bowl that collected 3.4 billion impressions.
The show, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi appeared has now accomplished the unique distinction. It is now the most trending televised event in India as well as around the world.The show premiered on 12th August on Discovery Channel and was then also televised up by Doordarshan in India.

The moment Prime Minister appeared on Man vs Wild show, people trended #PMModiOnDiscovery. In less than 12 hours since the first tweet made an appearance, the hashtag had reached 728 million people. As Twitteratis started praising the PM, ‘Man vs Wild’ trended on top in India and was on the second position worldwide.
From Bollywood, Randeep Hooda, and Anil Kapoor were among the first to express their excitement for the show of Mr. Prime Minister.
